The most important Niyama Objective: Students will explore what it means to live in the highest frequency of love. "I surrender to the engergy of love that is around me and within me, supporting me always." Centering: There are two main emotions: fear and love. When we are not acting with love, we are acting from fear. Fear constricts our energy and dampens our spirits. Is there a pose that demonstrates this low frequency feeling? Love however, is expansive, it's creative, it's playful and all-embracing. How do you feel when you are in the presence of love? What situations awaken love within you?-brainstorm and sit with that feeling. Is there a pose that demonstrates this high frequency feeling? Neck stretches, shoulder stretches, tricep stretch/posterior deltoid stretch (arm across front of chest), eagle arms both sides. Downward Dog to table to cat cows (3); repeat sequence 3x Dolphin and lift each leg Utkatasana to yoga mudra x 3 Dancer pose Partner pose-dhanurasana prep standing and then pose Closing: Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana-Pigeon to sleeping pigeon Siddhasana, hands to heart centre apart.
