My name is Leanne Paon.
I grew up in a small Nova Scotian French Acadian community. I feel fortunate to have spent most of my life on beautiful Cape Breton Island. I have been an educator for over 30 years, having taught both francophone, French Immersion, and Core French students, from Grades 2-12. Throughout most of my teaching career, I have taught French Immersion to French second language students. This year, I will be teaching Grade 2 Immersion. I am looking forward to working collaboratively with you and your child during the course of the coming year.
