Hi parents/guardians and students. My name is Tammy Landry and I am AEC's Music teacher and choir director. This is my 29th year teaching Music with the Board. Music is my passion and I thoroughly enjoy sharing it with others. My goal in the Music classroom along with providing the appropriate curriculum set down by the DOEECD is to instill a love of Music in the students by providing opportunities for exploration in the areas of singing, movement, instruments and creating. We are using a brand new curriculum document in the 4-6 grades so it is an exciting time for all Music educators in the province. Choir is an afterschool activity for students in grades 2,3 and 4. This activity runs on Monday's from 2:30-3:15. Further information will be provided to the students in the coming weeks. I look forward to meeting all of our new and returning students to the AEC community and encourage all students to participate to the best of their abilities and enjoy their time in the Music classroom.
